Our 1st REAL SNOW!! And Lot's Of Photos!

Hey Ya'll,

Well, we had a "dusting" of snow on the 29th and thought that it was great!  Then we woke up this morning, and had about 6" of snow that fell overnight!!  We are lucky that we have a 4x4 Truck as they have yet to plow off the snow from the roads in the RV Park!!  I will attach a few photos that I took today.  And we are expecting more snow tomorrow as well.

Normally this wouldn't bother me, but having been out and about the last few days, has made me realize that I am not as prepared for the colder temperatures as I thought I was.  My coats are ok, and I have some scarves that keep my neck warm, and I have a great pair of gloves for my hands, and a great hat, but.....my feet are a different story!  My feet are freezing up here everytime we go out of the home.  So I am looking to buy a pair of "winter boots" to keep my tootsies warm!  Now if only I can convince Walt to take me into Reno to buy them tomorrow!

Walt is currently visiting his Mom.  I would have gone with him, but I didn't take a shower today, and my short hair looks like Stan Laurel (for anyone old enough to remember Oliver and Hardy!)!  So there was no way that I was going to go visit her with my hair!  And I couldn't keep my hat on, as she keeps her house nice and WARM!  So it would look stupid for me to keep my hat on.  LOL

Last night one of our fears came to light.  One of our Septic Lines froze up!  So Walt spent most of today getting a new line put in (although not hooked up yet), and draining the one that wasn't frozen, so that we could continue to use it, as it was full this morning!!!  That is great, since we would have had to walk through the 6"'s of snow, to the RV Parks public restrooms everytime we needed to go!!  Anyway, he got one of them usable, and tomorrow he will continue to work on the other.  Or Monday at the latest.  Which means that he may not go down into Sacramento until Tuesday now.  Oh well, at least the weather is supposed to be clear then.

As for my "Fill".  I got it, but so far I don't feel like I have any restriction!  So maybe with the next one, I will.  But this is strange, since I am only .05 cc's lower than I was when I needed the "unfill".  Go figure.

Well, I better go for now, stay warm and dry.  Till next time......

Aloha My Friends  :)

And THIS is what we woke up to this morning!!

Looking out from our door to the East.

A view of the Eastern side of the Sierra's from our RV.  Lake Tahoe is over on the other side.

Wow these pics are just beautiful. They make me feel cooler just looking at them - because right now - we are experiencing a heat wave! I think I would rather be where you are.
