It Is Finally Moving Again!! :)

Hey Ya'll,

Well, I can say that this last Fill has finally started my downward trend again!  It has literally been months since I could say that I have been losing weight.  I had actually gained back up to 180 lbs.  So since my last Fill, I have lost 5.6 lbs!  And with our Hawaii trip coming up, I am hoping to lose at least another 25 lbs by then!  But another 35 lbs would be even better!!  And I have at least 6-7 months to do it!  I think I can, I think I can, I know I can!!!

Well, in my last post, I told you that we were trying to get a week in Hawaii through our Timeshare sometime between September and December.  The week has already been paid for, and if we don't use the time by the end of the year, we will lose it!  So we called in and requested the rooms and was told it could take up to 2-3 months to hear, depending on how long it will take for the people that have their Timeshares in Hawaii to decide to trade them in for weeks somewhere else.

Well, we woke up yesterday, and was flabbergasted to have received an e-mail advising us that we already had a week in Kauai, 2 rooms reserved.  The way our Timeshare is, we actually have a 2 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Suite, with full Living Room, full Kitchen, Laundry Room and at least 2 Lanai's.  But when we deposited the Timeshare, we broke up the Suite into 2 rooms.  One of them is the Master Bedroom, with full Kitchen, Living Room, and Laundry Room, with 2 large LCD TVs.  And the other room is a standard Hotel room with King Bed and Sofa with a small Kitchenette, LCD TV, it's own Bathroom of course, and a separate Lanai.

The problem is that the rooms that we were notified that we had, are on the Island of Kauai.  Don't get me wrong, Kauai is a beautiful Island!  But our friend is wanting to stay on Maui.  So we declined the rooms, hoping the next ones that come available will be on Maui.  If not, we will probably take the next rooms that come available anyway, since it isn't easy getting great rooms at the Marriott's in Hawaii!  And I found out last night, that our friend can only go a particular week in September, and she only wants to go to Maui.  Which really narrows the chances down to practically nil.  So unless a miracle happens, we will end up giving the second room to one of our Daughters.  As it will almost be impossible to get the 2 rooms at the same property, during the one week our friend has available!!  Oh well, hopefully we can go with our friend another time!  But we can always hope for the best, and keep our fingers crossed that the miracle happens for her!

Yesterday, I did 10 loads of laundry!  Luckily the laundry room here has 6 machines, and no one else was washing clothes at the same time, so it went pretty quickly.  Walt helps me out by taking the clothes to the laundry room for me.  He also helps out by getting the machines preloaded with soap, so that I can just fill them with clothes and start them.  Once they are finished washing, he comes back and puts the soap in the new loads for me while I am moving the clothes from the washing machines to the dryers.  Then, once they come out of the dryers and I have them folded, he comes back and starts taking the clothes back to the RV for me.  So although I do all of the loading, and moving of the clothes in the machines, and folding.  He really helps out a lot by carrying them to and from the laundry room.  He also starts to put the clean clothes away for me!  So we work well as a team and it gets done fairly quickly.  Our goal is to start washing clothes weekly instead of every two weeks  :)

Walt left for Sacramento this morning before 6 am.  And he will be back either Thursday or Friday.  I am hoping that he waits until Friday, as the roads will be better to drive on Friday.  I hate to see him drive over the Sierra's unless the roads are safe.  And it is supposed to be icy/snowy on Thursday.  I would rather him be gone an extra day, then to not come home at all!!

The day before yesterday, we woke up to find that our water lines for the back bathroom had froze again!  The temperature had dropped down to about 7 degrees overnight.  And since it is the only toilet that we can use right now, that poses a small problem!  Luckily we are parked close to one of the parks Rest Room/Shower Rooms.  So we can just walk a short distance to use the bathroom while we are thawing out the water lines.  Which was finally thawed out by about 3 pm......We are hoping that that was the last night that the temperatures will drop much below 20 degrees.  Last night it was down to about 16 degrees, but the lines stayed open, thank god!! :)  Oh well, we should just be about through the worst of the winter weather here.  Now we will start to worry about the heat, since we ARE living in the desert!  LOL

This was what our house looked like from the front just before we moved out.  We hadn't finished the Front Yard Landscaping as yet.

This is what it looked like after it was bought at Auction to be resold.  They toned down the Maroon color in the house paint and added the grass and some shrubs and flowers.  It looks nice.  And I am positive the neighbors are much happier!!  LOL :)

Well, I guess I better go for now, I have lots to do to finish the taxes this week.  Till next time.....

Can You Believe This ???

Hey Ya'll,

These photos that I am posting in the blog today are mine.  I took them last week during our last big snow storm....until today that is.  I woke up at 6 am and saw the snow, and took most of the photos through my windows, as I was NOT going to go outside in that snow just to take pictures that early in the morning.  A few of them I did take from my open door though.  The most obvious ones will be of our Steps into the RV, and the Hand Rail.  And remember that these are on the dark side, because the sun hadn't come up yet and I didn't use any flash!  After taking these photos, I went back to bed!!  LOL  But today's storm was much worse!

Well, I am finally getting close to finishing the Taxes.  At least I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.  :)  I should have them done this week.  Part of the problem is that I am pulling them all together completely differently, than I have in the past years.  So it will take me some time to adjust to it.

As for my weight....I got my last Fill two weeks ago and I have lost another 3.2 lbs.  Not as much as I would like, but at least it is a loss!!  I was afraid that this Fill would make me super tight.  The last time I had this much Fill was just before my "Unfill".  But so far, I am doing ok....most of the time!  Tonight I was eating some left over Meatloaf that Walt made last night, and I guess I ate too fast, and of course I am sure that you can fill in the blanks here!!  Yes, I am stuck.  But not as stuck as I have been in the past, just an uncomfortable stuck.  I have to really start to watch what I eat and how fast I eat it!!

Well, we woke up this morning to a major snow storm here.  It took half of the day for the roads to get semi cleared out.  We had to drive into town though, before the snow slowed down and the roads were safe to drive on.  And all I can say, is that I am really, really glad that we have a 4x4 Truck!  We drove with it in 4 wheel drive, and drove really slow.  It was almost bad enough to need to chain up!!  In fact, I am sure that we probably should have!  After we got home, it continued snowing, but at a slower pace.  Then later today, it started to snow again pretty good.

The road is already totally white and icy here in the RV Park again!  I am sure that there will be at least another 4-6 inches on the ground by morning, if not more!!  Now I know that all of you not from the West Coast area, will probably laugh at me for being so dramatic.  But you have to remember, I am a California girl, born and raised.  In fact, until I was 35, I lived in Southern California!  So I am NOT used to these conditions!  LOL

Well, as for my Post Title, I have to get this off my chest.  Last night, Walt showed me a photo of his Ex-Fiance from College.  She is listed in an Executive type site, that Walt just joined up into, and he found her on it.  She had her e-mail listed, so he asked if it was ok with me if he contacted her, to see how the world has been treating her in the last 30+ years.  I said "sure go ahead".  She responded this morning, and in her response, she provided her phone number.  So Walt called her.  Now get this, she is married and has several children, but apparently she likes to "play around".  This is one of the main reasons that he broke off their engagement back in College.  She was not monogamous even back then!  Well, she said that she would love to meet up with him again, and if he wanted to have an affair, she was all for it!!!!!!  WTF????  What nerve???  What are your thoughts on this??

And for some possible great news.....our next trip to Hawaii may just be happening this year!!  One of my BFF'S let me know that she was planning on going to Hawaii this year.  So I contacted her and asked if she minded if we went with her.  She said she would love the company, she is such a sweetheart.  Well, we have some time left on our Marriott's Timeshare that we have to use by the end of the year.....or lose it.  So we are attempting to get a reservation.  So please keep your fingers crossed that someone wants to trade in their time in Hawaii for somewhere else, so we can use it.

I am not sure if our friend will be able to go with us or not yet, since we are not sure we will be able to go during the Month that she had originally thought to go.  We are trying for the first available we can get.  But that could be anywhere from September to December and we aren't sure she would be able to get time off from work when ever that may be.  But since we have already paid for this time....all we would have to save for, would be our Airfare, Rental Car and our expenditures there.  So please think good thoughts and keep your fingers crossed!  I need this vacation!!!  LOL  It has been years since I was there last. :(

So for now, all I can do is wait, and wait, and wait.....Walt will be going back to Sacramento on Monday morning, so I only have him for another 3 nights.  Then I will be alone until probably next Friday or Saturday.  Until next time.....

Aloha My Friends  :)

And The Story Continues...

Hey Ya'll,

Well, it has been a few days since I posted last.  I was working feverishly trying to transfer all the information from my old e-mail address, that had been hacked into last week.  Once I am sure that everything that I had going into it, has been changed to the new e-mail address, I will close the old one out!  And I can't wait!!

Walt came home from Sacramento yesterday, instead of today as we had a short break in the weather a day earlier than expected.  Just the night before he came home (Friday), we had another big snow storm here in the desert valley.  We got about 8 ins of snow overnight, which is a lot for here.  I woke up at about 6 am yesterday, and forced myself out of bed to take some photos.  Most of which I took through the windows as it was too cold to go outside!!  After all, I am not THAT CRAZY!! LOL  I will post a few of them at the end of the post.  Then I went back to bed.  :)

This morning, we woke up and realized that the temperatures had dropped to the low single digits overnight (possibly just above 0) and the water lines to the back of the RV had froze again!!  This hadn't happened since we had our first storm here right after we moved to Nevada!  So we opened up the cabinet doors, and setup a heater in front of them, to allow the warm air to start thawing the pipes out.  It took most of the day, but at least they thawed.  :)  We went back to the store today, and purchased another small heater, so that we can keep one on in the back bathroom at night on these really cold nights, to keep the water lines from freezing again!

We also did a lot of running around town today.  Right now, this is the only time I get out of the RV, since Walt has the Truck with him when he goes to Sacramento for work.  So until I can start to ride the Motorcycle, or Walt starts to ride it, and I have the Truck, then I am basically house bound while he is away.  And since I had a coupon from Joann's that I had to use or else lose it, plus if I didn't use it, they would stop sending me the coupons!!  Oh My!!  So of course we stopped in to see what I could buy.  If you remember what I said in an earlier post.  The Joann's here in Carson City (we haven't moved to Reno yet) is horrible.  They have almost NO YARN SELECTION!!  I am talking really little and very few colors!!  So Walt suggested that I check out the Crochet books.  I'm glad that I did.  I found one with a lot of great patterns in it, so we bought it at 40% off.  :)

We also were shopping around for a couple of small LCD TV's to put in the two Bedrooms.  The largest we can use is about 26", and that would totally fill the space, but hey, what guy doesn't want the largest TV that he can get???  LOL  We never really realized how hard it is to find a decent small TV, at a decent price!!  Most of the smaller TV's are cheaply made TV's from out of the Country, not a name brand.  And they weren't much less in price comparatively to the larger TV's!!  We found out that it isn't profitable, for the name brand TV manufactures to make small TV's.  So if they do, they don't really lower the price much if at all, as it costs about the same to make a small TV, as it is to make a larger one!  We can buy a 30"-32" TV for the price of a 19"-26", assuming it isn't a REALLY off brand!!  But we can't use one that large!  We already have a really nice 40" LCD TV that we currently can't use.

And get this, I have agreed to wake up at 4 am tomorrow, (remember when I used to go to bed at 4 am???) so that I can drive with Walt to Reno while he practices at the Truck Driving School.  I will probably take a pillow and try to catch a bit more sleep!  :)  Then I will read my Kindle until he is finished.  We will be driving up North out of Reno, back into California so that we can eat Lunch with Carolyn and Russ (Walt's Ex-Wife and his Son), and Betsy and Maria (Walt's Sister and Niece).

Then after Lunch, we will be going to where his Niece Maria, has a show going of her Photographs.  Apparently she is really talented, taking after her Grandfather and Grandmother (Walt's Parents).  I will try to remember to take my camera and get a photo of Maria by one of her Photographs.  Apparently she has already sold several of the Framed Photos.

And last but not least, I am expecting to be back in the Sacramento area for a few days in April.  If there are any Bandster's in the Sacramento area that would like to get together for Dinner, let me know.  Maybe we can arrainge a get together, if so leave me a comment or contact me at my e-mail address listed here in the blog.  Don't worry, it isn't the one that was hacked into last week!!!

Well.....it is getting late, about 12 midnight and I have to get up by 4 am, so I better start my nightly ritual to go to bed.  Till next time.....

Did I Say That I Was Frustrated Before???

http://accio.us/wp-content/themes/thesis_15/custom/images/girl_at_computer_frustrated.jpg
And no, this isn't me!!  I wish I looked this great!  LOL

Hey Ya'll,

Yesterday, I woke up to Walt wanting to tease me awake!  We were going to head into Reno to check out the new RV Park we will be staying at.  I almost always check my e-mails right after I get out of bed, which I did yesterday.  But I forgot to log out of my e-mail account before we left, and apparently someone took advantage of this and hijacked my e-mail account, in the hopes of extorting money from everyone in my Contacts!

We found this out, when my Dad called me frantic that I had gotten into trouble in the Philippines, and needed money to get home.  After I assured him that I was well, and in Nevada, and that I still had my purse, wallet and credit cards, he slowly felt better.  Then I received another call from one of my two best friends, Nadene telling me the same thing.  And then my Brother called as soon as we got home!  So....needless to say, I had some trouble to deal with!

Whoever hacked into my account, changed my Password, so that I had to go through a lot of trouble to gain access to my account again!  Once I was in, I realized that they also deleted out my entire Contacts Folder.  It didn't get restored until today, which delayed my ability to contact everyone!  And unfortunately, I had a handful of my fellow blogger's e-mail addresses in my Contacts as well, since I had been in contact with them last year while setting up a time and place to meet.

Luckily, Walt doesn't believe that they will be able to hack into anyone's account, just by having their e-mail address.  But as a precaution, I would highly suggest to those of you that did get this e-mail from "Me" requesting money, to change your Password and make it hard to hack into.  Such as using both Upper Case and Lower Case Letters, and possibly adding in Numbers and Symbols too!  I did this yesterday, when I finally re-gained access into my account.  I wish I had done it to begin with!!  And again, I am really sorry if this has caused trouble to any of you, my fellow blogger's!

I will be canceling the old e-mail address soon, and attempted to send out my new one to those that could receive it.  I am still working on getting everything changed.  Just in case, since I had a lot of information in my account, I am now having to change all my Passwords in everything that I can think of!!!  Hence the photo above.  :(  And my Shoulders and Neck are killing me today!!  Partly because of all the stress from the situation I found myself to be in, and partly because I couldn't sleep last night and my body didn't really relax.

I forced myself to go to bed at 1:30 am, because I knew I should, not because I was sleepy.  But I couldn't sleep.  Finally around 4 or 4:30, I began to get sleepy, then Walt got up to get ready to leave for Sacramento, so I didn't get to sleep until he left.  Then....because of the WIND, I couldn't sleep and got up before 9 am!!  Partly because of the wind, partly because of everything else!!!

The wind is killing us here!  I had to go outside today to place large rocks on some items outside so that they didn't blow away, and I could barely step up into the RV and close the door!!  The wind almost blew me over.  And it isn't supposed to lessen until tomorrow around 4 pm!!!!   I hate the wind!  I would prefer rain any day!!  And it is supposed to start snowing tonight and it isn't supposed to stop until Saturday or Sunday!!  But so long as it isn't super windy, all will be well....

Well, I better go for now, I have so much to do, and this is now added to it!!  But I learned my lesson, and I will be super careful from now on!!  Till next time.....

Did I Say That I Had NO RESTRICTION ??? Oh My !!

http://i413.photobucket.com/albums/pp217/InsaneCodeZ/FrustratedWoman.jpg
This is not me, just a photo I found on the Internet, showing a Frustrated Woman.  Which is how I feel right now.

Hey Ya'll,

Well, just yesterday I was crying that I didn't have any Restriction after my last Fill on Friday.  But today, when we went to eat Dinner for our early Valentines Day celebration, I realized that I DO have Restriction!!  LOL

I came THIS CLOSE to having a full blown PB!!  I became very tight for awhile in the Restaurant, but then started to feel better, so of course I had just had to have one more bite of the Fried Ice Cream....well, as you probably guessed, it was the last straw!!  Luckily, after sliming up a good gollup of melted Ice Cream, I started to feel much better!!  At first, I was afraid that it wasn't going to pass so easily.  Whew!  At least I dodged this particular bullet!!  And Walt was saying I told you so, I told you not to eat anymore of the Ice Cream!!  LOL  He was right, but I will never admit it to him!!  And he knows it too!!  LOL

Well, after staying up until 1 am this morning, Walt woke me up at 7:58 am!!  Just so that we could be the first ones in the Laundry.  I would rather do the laundry late at night (they are available 24 hrs a day).  But for now, we do the laundry in the mornings.  All 11 loads of laundry!!  We really had 13 loads, but I doubled up on one, and didn't do the other.....which I will do later in the week.  Because there are 6 machines, we can do 6 loads at a time!  So even though we had 11 loads, we were done in about 3 hrs.

And I've got to say that Walt really helps out with the laundry.  He was doing some work on the RV, and running in to check in with me periodically, and taking the loads that were completed and folded back to the RV for me.  He will even do it totally himself when necessary.  :)  How many others can brag about their hubby like this??  He is a great cook, and can do the laundry as well!!  Now if we can just work on his temper some more......

And it looks like the weather will hold long enough for Walt to be able to stay through tomorrow.  He was originally going to drive to Sacramento tomorrow morning, to beat the Snow Storm coming.  But now it looks like the Storm will hold off until at least Tuesday afternoon, so he is planning on staying until then.  But then he will be in Sacramento until Saturday (mostly due to the weather again).  So we are making the most of our time together while he is here......(wink , wink ).

And as I predicted after my last post, I have already lost a Follower!!  I hate it when I lose a Follower.  I always wonder, was it something that I said, or was it that I talk too much about my everyday life, and not enough about my Band issues???  Or is it because I didn't leave any comments in their blogs for such a long time??  Well, if you have been Following me for a while, then you know that our lives have been in utter turmoil for the last year and a half.  We are just now getting to some normalcy.  But I still have to get through the Taxes!!  And now Walt wants me to get my CDL too!!  But I promise, that I will get back into everyone's blogs SOON!!!  I truly miss reading everyone's blogs on a daily basis, I truly do!  Which is why I have the Frustrated photo at the top of my post.

Well, I have lots to do, so till next time.....

Aloha My Friends  :)

A New Fill, But....Restriction???

Hey Ya'll,

Well, yesterday we drove into Reno, since we haven't actually moved there yet, in order to go to my Surgeon's Office for my latest Fill.  Ever since my "Unfill" back in October, I haven't had any restriction except for the occasional problems where I wasn't careful and ate too fast or didn't chew my food very well.  I was hoping to have some restriction after this Fill, but so far....nothing.  I even ate Lunch at Applebee's yesterday and didn't have any problems.  Of course I was careful.  I ate slower than normal and ate less than I normally would have.  I took enough home to have 2 more meals out of it!  But I could have eaten more than I did.

After we returned home, Walt went to bed.  He apparently had had a bad Headache, that started yesterday morning.  However, he didn't say anything about it until Lunch.  So I gave him a Tylenol 3 (Extra Strength Tylenol and Arthritis Strength Tylenol doesn't help him at all).  I had to give him another one after getting home, then another one last night.  He still had the Headache and had stayed in bed a most of yesterday.

He had planned on going back to Reno this morning, to go to the Truck Driving School for more practice.  But although he felt better, he still didn't feel super well.  So he stayed home today and spent most of the day in bed again.

Tomorrow, we are going to do our laundry in the morning. Ugh!  We have at least 11-12 loads to do, so we will be busy.  Laundry day always wears me out, since I have so much folding to do.  Then to have to put it all away!!  And since Walt may have to drive back to Sacramento on Monday, I will probably be packing his bags tomorrow as well.  He had originally planned on being here on Monday for Valentines Day, then driving to Sacramento on Tuesday morning, but it looks like another Snow Storm is moving into the Sierra's Monday afternoon.

We are expecting some snow here in the valley as well, but probably not until Wednesday.  So I am glad that we got the RV's Heater fixed, plus bought the Electric Heaters.  I should have no problems, but you never know!!  The biggest thing is that we won't be together for Valentines Day, but I told him not to worry about it.  We are so tight right now money wise, with taxes due and all, that we really can't afford to go out for Dinner anyway.....And he probably won't be home until next Saturday.  Luckily, I don't mind being alone.  I really don't.  I know, I know, I am weird.

Anyway, I finished the book I was reading by James Van Praagh, called "Ghosts Among Us".  Let me tell you, it was a fascinating read, and I highly recommend this book to anyone that is open to the possibility of life after death.  He was raised Catholic and had even started schooling to become a Priest when he was young.  And he tells you exactly what you can expect after you die.  Having read it, I really feel better about what is to come, and I feel even more connected to all the family members who has passed.  After saying this, I know that I will probably lose some Follower's that do not believe in Ghosts or life after death.  But you can't please everyone.  And this is after all my blog, and I am only writing about my experiences with the Band and my life.

Well, I guess I should go for now, here's hoping that I actually get some restriction at some point in the future again.  Till next time....

Aloha My Friends  :)

Got To Visit The Family!! :)

http://www.cowboycadillac.com/BENZHAULER!.jpg

Imagine the White Diesel from the last Post, in front of the "towed" Trailer in this photo (instead of this Black one).  The "Toter Home (would be Walt's Office)", it would be "towing" our 5th Wheel RV (instead of the type of Trailer shown here in this photo), and then we would "tow" another Trailer behind it too!!

Hey Ya'll,

Well, we made it home last night from California.  While we were there, we went to lunch with my Mom, our oldest Daughter Christa, and the Grand Kids, Walker and Emily.  This is an amazing feat, since my Mom is in constant pain, she rarely goes out of the house, unless it is to the Doctor or the Hospital!!  So we were so thrilled that she made the effort to go to lunch with us.  We took her to a great small Mexican restaurant owned by a local family, since Mexican food is probably my Mom's favorite!!

We were there for about 2 hours!  All through the lunch period, but we didn't care.  We wasn't going to rush our visit.  Luckily, there managed to be JUST enough tables available for all that came in, during the time we were there!  LOL  Then we went to my parents house to visit with my Dad too.  He stayed home with Charlie, my Nieces son.  Since he was home sick from school.  My Dad would have been crushed if we didn't spend some time with him too!!

Since we stayed with Kat while in California, we got to have several meals out with her.  My favorite had to be Monday night.  She came home from work, and told me to grab my bag we were going out!  Just the two of us....So we went to the local Shopping Mall to pick up some slippers that she had special ordered for her FIL, then a couple of other places.  Once all the shopping was finished, we went to The Outback Steak House.  As it is one of my favorite restaurants!

Since I can't eat too much Steak (I didn't want to risk getting stuck....), we shared the Filet Mignon dinner and added a 2nd Baked Potato and 2nd side Salad.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their Honey Mustard Dressing!!  So I ate the whole salad.  I only had a few bites from my half of the Steak, but it was delicious!  And I ate the whole (inside) of my Baked Potato!  It has been so long since I have had more than just a bite or two of one!  Kat had also ordered a half order of Cheese Fries, and I have to admit, I managed to NOT eat a single one!  I knew that if I started eating one, I would end up eating many more!!  And I wanted that Salad and Baked Potato even more!  Kat only ate a few of them herself, so we took most of the Cheese Fries, part of her Potato, my Potato Skin, and most of my half of the Steak home, so that Walt could eat them for Breakfast.

Once we got home though, I instantly noticed that the temperature inside the RV was too cold.  We had left the heat set, so that it shouldn't have gone below 58 degrees.  But it was 45 degrees!!  Walt tried to turn on the Heat, but it wouldn't work.  So he called Ron, our RV Repair guy, and Ron said to go buy a couple of the Electric Space Heaters (that we used to have, but had returned, and never replaced!!) to get us through the night.  So we did, and they worked just fine.

Today Ron arrived and fixed the Heat.  It was a simple fix, but until he looked at it, he couldn't tell us what the problem was.  So there goes another $40!  Oh well, at least it is working.  And if I had stayed here, instead of going with Walt to California, I would have been pretty cold!  Since I didn't have a vehicle to drive to the store to buy some Space Heaters!  At least I would have had one cold night!  As I am sure that Ron would have come to my rescue once we knew there was a problem.  This is just one reason why I hate not having a vehicle that I can drive when I am alone......

Oh, and I think that I need to change what I said about the Diesel Truck that I had pictured in the last post.  The Diesel with the attached room is NOT what we would be living in!  It would be used for Walt's Office.  We would tow our 40 ft RV with it, as well as another Trailer behind the RV!!  So that we had all our belongings with us.  We also would like for the flat bed portion behind the Diesel's "Office Space" to be longer, so that we could place the Gold Wing and possibly another Motorcycle there, just in front of where the 5th Wheel attaches.

Does this make sense??  The Diesel with the Toter Home attached, would be Walt's Office/Bathroom, then it would have a long enough flat bed behind it, so that we could transport the Motorcycles.  Then "towed" behind it, would be our 40 ft 5th Wheel RV, and behind it, we would "tow" another Trailer!!  So essentially we would be towing 2 Trailers behind the Diesel Toter Home!!  Which is why we would need the Class A Driver's License!!

Well, I better go for now.  Walt is back from the Truck Driving School.  I need to attend to him....LOL  Till next time.....

Aloha My Friends.

How Was YOUR Weekend??

http://www.truck-semi.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Kenworth-Semi-Truck.jpgHey Ya'll,

Well, I survived the weekend, and I actually had a nice time at the Super Bowl Party!  I met some really nice people there.  We were all rooting for the Green Bay Packers so our group was HAPPY!!  The only reason I was rooting for them over the Steelers is because one of my Uncles (by marriage) Nephews, used to play for the Packers back in the 60's and was in the first Super Bowl!! Otherwise, I could really care less about Football!

One of the couples we met at the party, has been living full time in their RV for 5 yrs!  However, they are getting ready to retire, and are moving back to Arkansas where they have family.  They will be buying a small home to "live in", and use their RV for traveling from then on!! LOL  When they heard that we had a small second Bedroom and a second Bathroom, they said they wished that their RV had the extra space, it would have been much better!!

Anyhoo, I woke up today to Walt's sending me a text, advising me that I have a Doctor's Appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning (early!! The first appointment).  He really wants me to get on the ball and start getting my CDL as well.  He already passed the written test (I just hope that it doesn't take me a million attempts to pass it), and is in the process of learning to drive the Big Rig's.  Next is my turn!!  :(  Oh well, what else do I have to add to my list of acquired licenses???  I already have my Motorcycle License and "hopefully" in the future, I will have my CDL (Class A) License.  And me, going on 56 this year!!

Here's a small tidbit that I am not sure I ever shared with you or not.  I grew up flying in small Airplanes with my dad, and loved it!!  In fact, I never even flew in a large jet until I went to Hawaii for the first time in 1978!!  And I used to always tell Walt how much I loved to fly.  Well, he decided that we would get our Pilot's Certificates!!  We went to Ground School together, and both of us passed the Ground School easily.  Then we began our Flying Lessons.

Well, I only got so far as to finish about 10 hours of Flying before I stopped.  I stopped for 2 reasons.  Reason 1) it was expensive, especially for two of us!  And we wanted Walt to pass his test and get his Certificate so that he could fly us to Vegas for a vacation coming up.  And Reason 2) I knew that because of all the medications that I took, I would never be able to pass the physical anyway.....so I just enjoy flying, navigating, etc.

So....how does this work into what I was talking about???  Well, tomorrow's Doctor Appointment is to get my Medical for the CDL....Walt seems to think that so long as I am under control with the Medications, and that they do not/will not interfere with my driving, that I should be able to pass the physical.  I will let you know the outcome later.....LOL

The reason that we are going for our CDL is because of Walt's grandiose, way over the top dream of our future RV Rig!!  He wants to eventually get a Toter Home to tow our RV and a 2nd Trailer!!  The Toter Home he wants it to be would be large enough to have his Office and a Bathroom in it, at least!  Plus a large enough flatbed at the rear of it before the Hitch, to be able to carry at least one if not two Motorcycles!  Then of course the RV, and a second Trailer behind the RV for our extra incidentals!!!  I attached a photo of what we are talking about above.  But in order to be able to tow such a long RV plus a 2nd Trailer, you need a CDL......Not to mention the Diesel itself!!  Just to drive it, we would have to have a CDL!

So tomorrow, we will be meeting our oldest daughter Christa and the Grand Kids Walker and Emily for lunch tomorrow after the Doctor Appointment.  Then going to visit my Mom and Daddy afterwords.  We would love to take them to lunch with us, but it is very difficult to get my Mom out of the house anymore.  So we will probably end up taking them lunch.  But at least I will get to see them for a while before we have to go home on Wednesday morning.  Well, my SIL just arrived home, so I better go for now.  Till next time......

My Sweetheart Is Coming Home Today!!! :)

http://www.chinaoilpaintingswholesale.com/pictures/Landscape/pic2/b/Landscape-18.jpg

Before you get all excited, this beautiful painting is NOT MINE!  But I wish that it were!  :)

Hey Ya'll,

Well, this post will be a short one, as I have a lot of work to do!!  But I just wanted to say that my Sweetheart Walt, will be coming home today!!  But it will be for a VERY short time!!  LOL  We will probably leave tomorrow, in order to drive down to the Sacramento area to stay with our Daughter Kat, as it will break up our drive to Clear Lake in half.

We are going to Clear Lake on Sunday, for Super Bowl.  And since we live so far away, we would just be tired the whole time we were there, and we would not be able to enjoy ourselves much.  Since we would then have to turn around and drive back to the Sacramento area!!  Which would put us on the road about 6-8 hrs Sunday, depending on traffic!  Plus the game time, WHEW!!  So by leaving tomorrow, we will only have the drive to Clear Lake and back to the Sacramento area on Sunday.

Yesterday I had a Migraine Headache most of the day.  So I wasn't much good for anything.  I didn't get any work done at all.  Since our RV only has shades over the windows, not curtains, it doesn't allow the interior of the RV to get very dark.  So I pined some pillow cases over the windows in the Bedroom and closed the door, so that I could be in darker surroundings.  It helped a lot!  So I just stayed in bed most of the day yesterday, trying to relieve my Headache.  Finally by evening, I started to get relief!

Unfortunately, this caused me to not be able to get to sleep until sometime after 4 am!!  I know, I know....that before we moved into the RV, I always stayed up really late.  But since we moved, I have been going to bed every night, sometime between 11 pm and 1 am.  Even when Walt is away!  So 4 am or later, is just tiresome to me now...I knew that I should have taken that Sleeping Pill last night.....LOL

Anyhoo, I need to get my butt in gear and go take a shower!  I want to look and smell my best for Walt today.  :)   So, till next time.....

I'm So HAPPY!! And A Belated Happy Birthday!!

View Image
Don't ya'll just love this PINK collar???

Hey Ya'll,

First off, I want to say thanks to all that left me comments wishing me, love, hugs, good wishes, prayers, encouragement, comfort.....well you get the picture!  But after saying thanks, I want to say.....that I am SO HAPPY!!  Walt finally cooled down and we talked through the problem yesterday.  Most of the problem was a misunderstanding, and after we both said our sorry's, we moved on!

Yesterday was Walt's 56th Birthday!!  So after we made up and rocked he RV a bit, we went off to eat Dinner at a Mexican Restaurant here in town that was professed to be one of the top 100 Restaurants in the United States, and was voted the "Best of the Best" locally for great Mexican food!!  My MIL suggested it to us, and we are really glad that we tried it!!  They more than lived up to their reputation.

After we got home, we watched some TV, packed his bags for this week, then rocked the RV again!!  Isn't make up sex great???  (Sorry if this is TMI for some of you)  My daughter Christa is probably red in the face right now!!  Saying...."I can't believe she wrote this, and put this out in cyber space where anyone could read it"!!!  Oh well, with age, sometimes you get less concerned with what others think about you.  LOL  Like they say...."if the RV is rockin, don't come a knockin"....LOL

So now I will be alone again until Friday late afternoon, or early evening.  But I have plenty to do.....Taxes!!  Ugh!  Why won't they just go away???  Oh well, some things just never go away, no matter how much you try to hide from them.  So saying that, I better go for now!  I just wanted to let you know that all is great again in RV Land!!!  Till next time.....
