Sorry For So Many Posts In One Day!
Hey Ya'll,
Well first off, I want to apologize for so many posts in one day. But my sweetheart Walt, got home a short time ago, and I could tell immediately that something was wrong.....He always wakes up hours before me. He is a morning person, I am a night person. He left early this morning before I woke up in order to go check out a Truck Driving School, and he was planning on driving today to see if he would like it.
He feels he needs to get his Commercial Drivers License so that we could upgrade our towing vehicle in the future, so that we could tow not only the 5th Wheel, but another Trailer behind it! Which would make a Commercial License necessary. We would also probably pull them with a Semi Truck! So he feels that I too HAVE to have a CDL as well. Well, if we do upgrade to the Semi, then yes, I would have to have one, unless I never wanted to drive it! But I don't feel that it is necessary for me to start to learn how to drive one until later. At least after we get through taxes, and we are sure that he is going to go through with it too! So yesterday I told him that I was NOT going to go to the School today with him.
So unless this is what is bothering him, I am not sure what he is upset about. Walt has a tendency to shut down when he gets really mad. He won't talk about it. He just wants to simmer and boil for a while, until he decides that he will forgive me. Which is worse than fighting to me. At least I know what he is mad about. But when he shuts down without telling me what I said or did, then I don't know how to react or what to do or say.
He won't let me say anything....which is even worse. It makes me feel like he hates me. Like our future is in jeopardy!! Which makes me feel helpless. He knows that I would never move back into my parents home, and since I have no where else to go, I am up a creek if he decides that whatever I did was bad enough to leave me for. Especially since I had to retire from working due to Medical issues. I would have a hard time finding work that would accept someone that has so many Medical issues. So supporting myself would be almost impossible....I don't know what to do. All I want to do is cry right now. And I haven't felt like this in awhile.
We were supposed to go do the laundry today after he returned. I don't mind doing it myself. In fact, if I had had the money to do it, I would have went ahead and started it while he was gone. Even though I knew that he would have been upset that I did. So I waited for him. When he got home, he silently ate lunch, then let me know in no uncertain terms that he was going to do the laundry and he didn't want me to help him....
Tomorrow is Walt's birthday, but I am not even sure if he will be here to celebrate it with me. He may choose to go back to Sacramento tonight or early tomorrow, just so he doesn't have to spend it with me. I am very sorry for such a Debbie Downer post today. But that is exactly how I feel. I will get off here for now.
Aloha My Friends :(

Fill Postponed, and The Calories!! Oh My!!
I realized after reading some comments, that I forgot to mention that this beautiful painting is NOT one of mine!! I only wish it were! And it is one that I may try to duplicate in the future.....
Hey Ya'll,
Well, my next Fill was scheduled for yesterday, but I had a fairly bad Stuck episode on Wednesday, so I made the executive decision to reschedule the Fill. :( The reason being, since I had such a bad day, I was afraid that if I went ahead and got the Fill, that my Band would still be swollen and irritated, causing me to be even more TIGHT after the Fill, causing me to have to have an "Unfill", which I do not want to do again, if I don't have to.
Alert, Alert, don't read the rest of this paragraph if you are squeamish!! So now maybe you would like some details on my Stuck episode.....I made myself a Chicken Pot Pie for lunch. I didn't even eat it all, before I realized that I was Stuck. I hadn't been Stuck in awhile.....well, let me tell you, it was not pleasant. It was one of the worst episodes that I have had. And I have had a few BAD ones!!! LOL I was in severe pain off and on, for about 7-8 hours!! I literally threw up several times (I mean REALLY threw up!! Not just Slimming). Each time I managed to throw up, I would feel better. Then within a half hour, it would start up again! So I basically lived in the bathroom on Wednesday.....not my idea of a good day.....LOL
So I called in, and changed my Fill appointment for February 11th. At least I will be able to make sure that I am recovered from the Stuck episode. :) Walt and I will be driving down to California on Sunday the 6th for a Super Bowl party, near Clear Lake!!! I really wanted to get out of it, I hate driving far. I had managed to get out of it for the last two years, but last year, Walt promised them that I would be there......thanks Walt!!! But the good thing about it, is that we will be able to visit with Family as we will be staying with one of our daughters in the Sacramento area for a few days.
So Tracy, of Banded Adventures. If you read this, are you still interested in getting together for Dinner?? We could meet you either Monday or Tuesday. Please let me know????
Yesterday, we spent the day on the Bike, riding around town and getting it Licensed at the DMV. Since Nevada allows for more than one type of Handicap placard, etc. We went ahead and got a Handicap License Plate for the Bike. This way, when I am riding it alone, I can park in Handicapped spaces. I also have a Placard that I can hang in the Truck.
Today, we met Carolyn and Russ, for lunch in Reno. For those of you new to my blog, Carolyn is Walt's ex-wife, and Russ is his Son. Don't worry, Carolyn and I get along just great! In fact, Walt always jokes that my Sister called when she does. :) Carolyn invited us to Lunch.....on her!! Isn't that so sweet??
The problem is that we met for Lunch at Claim Jumper. If you have never ate there, they serve HUGE portions!! But that is ok, I ate a bit less than half of my lunch, Walt ate some of it too. But the problem occurred at the end of Lunch....we ordered a HUGE Dessert to share. We ordered the, I Declair (Baked fresh daily, Sweet pastry filled with a buttery Bavarian custard atop Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with Hot Fudge & homemade Whipped Cream). I would have posted a picture of it, but they don't show it on their website! But it is at least 10-12 inches long! Like I said, it was huge, and the total calories in it is.....2314!! So even at 1/4th, I ate close to 600 calories just in the Dessert!!! Oh My!!! So....when was my next Fill??? LOL
Well, I better go for now, I need to relax as tomorrow we will be taking the laundry to the laundromat. We have at least 9-10 loads to do!! Wish me luck! Till next time......
Aloha My Friends :)

Oh No!! Another Move???
Reno, here we come!!!
Hey Ya'll,
Well, when Walt and I went through all of our troubles, we decided to move into an RV so that we could hopefully semi-retire soon. But in the meantime, Walt does still have to work. So we had originally thought to move to Reno, since it was an easy drive down to the Sacramento area for Walt. Then we fell in love with this RV Park, and we moved into it. Walt didn't think that the difference in the drive would be that much.....
Well, after driving it for the last few weeks, he hates it!! So we are moving to Reno after all! It is good for a couple different reasons. One, it will be an easier, faster commute for Walt. And two, it puts me in a larger City, making it easier for me to get around. Plus more shopping available!! But, it also puts us in a smaller RV Park, where the spaces are closer together. Oh well.....At least we don't have to pack up a ton of stuff to move this time!! It is all in the RV, except for what is in Storage. And we have decided to keep our "stuff" where it is for the time being. LOL
Walt will be coming home tomorrow. This time for the last time from the house. After this, he will be staying with his daughter Kat while he is in Sacramento working. She lives in the area and is "happy" to have her Daddy stay....at least for awhile.... LOL! She has to go to bed really early since she gets up for work way early, so he will have to adjust his TV viewing to her. Since he likes to have the TV on high volume....We may need to buy one of those devices where he can listen to the TV without the sound bothering her. For that matter.....we could use one of those here!! LOL
Well, I better go for now. Till next time.....
Aloha My Friends :)

So if you haven't already checked out her blog, please do!! So Ms. M...."Welcome to my Nightmare".....LOL

The House SOLD At Auction Today!! And The Newest Crocheted Bear!
Goodbye House! We shall miss you!! We never did finish the Front Yard Landscaping!
Hey Ya'll,
Sorry that I have been MIA for a few days. As usual, so much to do, so little time.... Anyway, Walt and I took his Mom to lunch on Friday, for her Birthday. I Crocheted her a long Scarf and a small Crocheted Ballerina Bear. The pattern calls for it to only measure 3"'s tall. The way I made it, it turned out to be about 10"-12"'s tall. Her favorite colors are Purple, so that was the colors that I chose for the Tutu. I will post photos of it at the end of the post.
So Saturday, Walt and I drove down to the Sacramento area, so that we could pack up the remaining "stuff" that was still at the house, so that we could get it moved up to our Storage Unit. I didn't want to sleep on the floor at the house, even on an air mattress, as it is just too hard for me to get up off the floor (I'm not a spring chicken anymore)! So we stayed at my Step-Daughter Kat's house. After we had lunch, I drove over to my parents house and visited them for an hour or so, then our oldest Daughter Christa and her family, came over and helped us finish packing. And Mark, Christa's husband dug up the 4, Bird of Paradise plants, that we had planted behind the pool, so that she could plant them at her house. After we were finished, we drove to Sacramento to Kat's, and went to dinner with her and her husband Elliott, before going to their house for the night.
Walt and I left early the next morning, to go back to our house to start loading the belongings into our friend Dan's Bobtail. He has been so gracious to allow us to use his Bobtail, to move our "stuff" to the Storage Unit in Carson City, NV. He drove it of course, and helped to load and unload it. But we did pay for all the fuel, and his meals. But for him to take 3 days of his time to help us, was much appreciated.
So we drove back up to Carson City on Sunday, after we finished loading the Bobtail up. After unloading it in the Storage Unit, we took Dan to lunch, then I drove the Truck home, while Walt and Dan took my Desk, Office Chair and the remaining Lateral File, to his Mom's house, as we gave them to her. Then Walt rode back to the Sacramento area with Dan, so that he could drive back home on Thursday, with the Gold Wing and it's Trailer. Oh, and of course he has my Trike Training Wheels attached to it!! This way, once we get it up here, and I have some practice riding it (as it is totally different than riding a regular Motorcycle), then I can ride it around, when Walt has the Truck in California at work.
Today, was the Auction for the House. :( I am not sure if I am happy about it, or not. But at least we no longer "own" the house, so we are no longer responsible for any accidents that may happen here. Which is why Walt continued to live in it after moving me up to the Carson City, NV area. We were concerned that someone would jump the fence and drown in the pool or something.....
Christa did manage to sell the Hot Tub and Gazebo last week for much less than we paid for them, and she also sold Walt's HUGE solid wood, Rosewood Office Desk and matching Credenza today!! Also for much less than we paid.
The house sold. So someone got a great house for a great price!! Our neighborhood is one of the more desirable ones in our City. Of course, it wasn't the most expensive neighborhood, but one of the nicer ones. We loved our house, and how we made it ours! But, well.....life goes on, and things change. So we are on to our new life as full time RV'rs.
So, since Walt went back with Dan on Sunday, and I was finally left with transportation, I spent the day driving around my new City and checking out the Craft stores here. Unfortunately, they left a lot to be desired. I usually buy my Yarn at Joann's, and the Joann's here in Carson City is just.....TINY! And they only had about 1/8th the amount of yarn that the store where I usually buy at has. Even the Michael's store has less than the one in California. However, I did find a local Craft Store that had a bigger supply of yarn, but they were a bit more expensive. So I will check out the Joann's and Michael's stores in Reno, hoping that they are more like the ones in California, otherwise, I will have to make the drive to California, when I am getting ready to start a new big project!! Not what I am wanting to do either!!
So I guess that I will end this for now, I need to get to bed, got lots to do to get our taxes done!! So till next time.....
Aloha My Friends :)
This is the Ballerina Bear that I just finished Crocheting for my MIL for her Birthday. I hope you like it. :)

Sending Out Award To Everyone!! And...Walt Is Leaving Again!
Hey Ya'll,
I just wanted to make a quick post to keep you all up on whats been happening here (which is not too much).
But first, I want to pass along this gorgeous Stylish blogger Award to every one of my Followers!! If you haven't already received this award, well.....you have now!! All you have to do, is pass it along to someone you feel is deserving, which I feel everyone is, which is why I copped out and gave it to everyone!! Then, tell us 7 Things That We Don't Know About You!!
Now, as to what Walt and I have been up to. Well....since my last post, we have been trying to find a Universal Remote, that we can program to use with the TV in our Bedroom (the original one died....:( ). The TV is about 11 yrs old, and so far, we have tried 2 different remotes to no avail!! However, we did find one that we figured we would use as a last resort. I say last resort, because it is on the expensive side. So it appears that it will have to be the expensive one! We checked online on its website, and found that it will work with our TV. But we won't be able to get it until at least Friday!
Today, our son Russ came down from where he is living with his mother Carolyn, "my sister" for those of you that have read my blog for awhile! Otherwise you won't get the joke! Anyway, Russ drove down to pick up our practically brand new, High Efficiency, Extra Capacity Washer/Dryer set. Yes, some may think that we are crazy, giving an expensive set to Walt's ex-wife....but we have our reasons. Anyway, Russ came and we loaded them up in Carolyn's truck, then we took Russ to eat lunch at a local Casino.
Afterward, Walt and I proceeded to return the last Ceramic Heater that we just bought yesterday, as we didn't know it until we had it home, and out of the box, that the lowest temperature you can set it to is 65 degrees!! I'm sorry, but having our tiny RV Bedroom at 65 degrees in the Winter is just too hot! Both Walt and I prefer to sleep with it a bit on the cool side, so we like to set the Heater somewhere between 57-59 degrees. So off it went, back to the store.
We also had to return the Universal Remote that we bought yesterday. During our rounds today, besides returning the Heater and Remote, we repurchased a new Heater and Remote. And guess what??? Now that we are home, neither I nor Walt can get the newest Remote to work. So Friday it will be off to the store, to return/exchange the Remote AGAIN!!! We haven't unboxed the Heater as yet, so cross your fingers that this one will work the way we want it to!!!
I need to go for now, as I need to pack up Walt's clothes for his trip back to Sacramento tomorrow! He will be returning on Thursday though. But Thursday will be a particularly hard day for him. He will be driving from Sacramento to Carson City twice!! Yes, you read it right. He will be riding the Gold Wing up, with our friend Dan following in his enclosed Van, bringing up the last of our "stuff" to be placed in Storage for awhile at least. Then he will hitch a ride back down with Dan so that he can return with the Truck!
This way we will have all of our vehicles here! Which means that next week we will be going back to.....(drum roll please) you probably guessed it right.....the DMV! So that we can finish Registering the vehicles. We can't register the Bike and it's Trailer without them being here, since Nevada has to visually inspect the VIN #'s!! But at least at this point we will have everything Registered, and we will be totally out of California in every way except for the Work that Walt does there. And he is looking for work locally so that he can stop commuting!! I will also get a Handicap License Plate for the Bike. This way we can park it in a Handicap space too. I have a Placard as well, but I'm sure that you can figure out why, I won't use it with the Bike???? If not, leave me a comment asking me why, and I would be more than happy to tell you!! LOL Well, I better go, I do have a lot to do....till next time.
Aloha My Friends :)

An Award! And A Look At My Unfinished Painting
Hey Ya'll,
I am so excited to think that someone thinks that my Blog is deserving of an Award! Especially one like this! I have never been one that had a particularly pretty, or well thought out Blog layout. For those of you who has been Following me for some time, may remember how my Blog used to look with that Hawaiian layout. I loved it, but lately, I have been trying to be more creative and to not be afraid to change my Blog layout up.
So saying this, I want to thank Lisa, The Rest Of My Life for this award! Lisa, ever since you have been Following me, you have been a real strong supporter of my ongoing daily struggles with life!! You feel like a true friend, and I am sure that we would be, if we were to live around each other!! Just like many of you out there in Blogland! So the next step is to tell you....
Seven Things About Me, That You May Or May Not Know About Me!!
1) I LOVE to FLY!! I don't care if it is in a large Jumbo Jet or a small personal Airplane. But if it is in a Jet, I prefer to fly First Class!! Of course! But I have only been able to fly First Class about 3 times! Which is what has made it harder to fly Coach now!! LOL I also have taken Flight Lessons, but never completed them for my own Flight Certificate. Although Walt does have one!
2) A) I am Claustrophobic, I never really realized it until I had Surgery years ago, and I just about had a cow when they put the mask on me before I was out!! So from now on, I always let them know that I am Claustrophobic and they don't bag me until I am already out! B) I'm terrified of FIRE! The main reason that I never tried to smoke, was there was no way that I could light a match! I always joke and say that I must have been burned at the stake in another life!! LOL C) And I am Claustrophobic about water as well. I cannot swim in any water unless it is a swimming pool!
3) I took up Oil Painting about 2 years ago. I am not a great painter by any stretch of the word, but I do enjoy it, and I can only hope that I improve with each painting I do. So far, I have not been able to keep any of my paintings though, as someone takes dibs on it! Not that they are that great, but at least I try.
4) My lowest weight since I reached young adult hood is 89 lbs (in High School), and my highest weight was 228.6 just before my Lap Band Surgery. Looking back at it now, I was on the verge of Anorexia as a teenager! Back then I could eat 4 meals a day (two of them at McDonald's no less) and still maintain my weight. Now I look at food.....well you get the drift.
5) I love to Travel!! One of my favorite places to go is Hawaii, and I have been there 7 times (one of them by a 2 week cruise from Canada to Hawaii, then circled Hawaii for a week). I have cruised 4 times, been to England and France for 2 weeks, and Ireland for 2 weeks. I would love to go back to England, and I really want to go to Scotland, Germany and Australia! Plus many more of course!!
6) I'm addicted to Reality TV!! Everything from Bridal shows, Cake Boss (etc), The Bachelor/Bachelorette, and Paranormal Shows such as Ghost Hunters/Ghost Hunters International, yada, yada, yada......I can't help myself. I fought watching them for so long, then.....I didn't and now I watch as much if not more Reality TV as I do regular programing.
7) And this one I am not proud to admit to. I have been married 4 times!! The first time was to a boy that I lived down the street from as a kid. Number 2 was wrong from the get go. But I tried for 5 yrs to make it work. Finally I got tired of supported him (for the most part) and the fact that he NEVER brushed his TEETH from the day we were married!! Number 3 was to a guy from Jordan. And if he hadn't decided that he wanted to go back to his Country (and he wasn't sure he would return), and there was no way that I was going to move there and take my teen-age Daughter! And Walt is number 4. He isn't perfect, we have our fights, but we are together for better or for worse. And even though I complain about him, I do feel that we are perfect together.
So, now that I have bared my soul to you, I will leave for now!! But I want to post a photo of the painting I am working on for my Step-Son Russ. It still has some work to do, I need to change the main wave some more, as well as finishing the left hand corner and the lower wave action. I am not happy with it yet. But I feel it is looking pretty good for my first time trying this technique. Russ saw it at Thanksgiving and loved it then, so I hope he will still love it when it is finished. Till next time.....

Since Walt Has Been Home, And Some Photo's
Hey Ya'll,
Well, I haven't posted in a couple of days except to welcome my newest Followers. But as usual, we have been busy. I knew that as soon as Walt got home, we would start running around doing the errands that we desperately needed to do!
But Wednesday after he got home, we just stayed in the RV together and did a bunch of nothing! Yesterday, was another story though! We had to go to the local DMV in order to Register our RV. Luckily, when we got there, we didn't even have to wait to be helped at the front desk. And only had to wait about 10 minutes to be helped with the Registration!! There was no one there, we were sooo happy!
After we left the DMV, we went to the local Joann's Store, so that I could purchase some more yarn and stuffing. As I am crocheting a Ballerina Bear and a long Scarf for my Mother In Laws Birthday which is this month. I just hope the Bear turns out well and she likes them. But I was so surprised at how small the store was. The Joann's where we used to live was at least twice the size, if not more. And their yarn selection was next to nothing! So I guess in the future when I am starting a new project, I will have to go to Reno where I am sure their store is larger (at least I hope so)!
After that, we went to pick up our mail, and we had a ton of it to go through! Then we also had to return some items to a couple of stores and purchase two new space heaters (one for the living room, the other for the bedroom). Walt has not been happy with any of the ones we have tried so far! PLUS, Walt took me to lunch. We went to the local Applebee's and I had the Three-Cheese Chicken Penne. It was good, but more than I needed. In fact, Walt had some of it too, and I took the rest home. I had half of what was left for dinner, and gave Walt the other half!
After all this, we took some more stuff from the RV over to our Storage Unit and organized it a bit better. While doing this, we also picked out some items that we wanted in the RV right away! So we were busy all day yesterday!
For some reason, I couldn't go to sleep last night! It was after 4 am when I finally did. Then Walt started making a ton of noise inside and outside the RV, starting around 8 am! Talk about no sleep. Then he woke me up and we spent the next couple of hours doing the 9 loads of laundry. While there, another of the couples that live here in the RV Park, came in to do their laundry too, and we found out that they have lived here for 8 years! They have been Full Time RV'g since 1995 and love it. So I guess that there is hope that we will adjust too.
One of the biggest problems adjusting so far, has been the lack of TV Channel's!! At our house, we had Satellite TV with a ton of TV Channels to choose from. Now don't get me wrong. We do have (FREE) Cable here, but they don't offer all of the Channels that I used to get at home, which had some of my favorite programs. One of them is the Syfy Channel. And it takes so long for Hulu to get the current season on, that I am Not Happy!!
And Walt just brought up our other two TV's, so that each of the bedrooms has a TV in it as well, on this last trip back. But the problem, is that we aren't placing the TV for my Office where the TV is allocated to go, and we need about 13 ft of Co-axe Cable in order to reach my TV! So I still only have what I can watch on Hulu in my Office. And that is another problem! I ALWAYS have the TV on, especially when I am working at my desk! And I can't! So I sit here working on the Computer in silence, which just about kills me! And don't suggest listening to music, it just isn't the same!!! I end up wanting to sing, and then I can't concentrate like I need to. So I can't watch TV (Hulu) until I am no longer working on the Computer each day. Now when Walt is away, I can turn on the TV in the Living Room, and that is at least acceptable as I can see it and hear it from my Office. But while Walt is here, no way!
Speaking of Walt going away. He will be returning to Sacramento for work on Monday morning, then he will return on Thursday. So I will have 3 days/nights with the TV to myself!! Hopefully he will bring my Co-axe Cable back with him so my TV can be setup!! I'm sorry if I sound dramatic, but even as a kid in school, I always did my homework with the TV on. Even if I wasn't paying attention to it, I had it on. Which is why I like to watch movies that I have seen many times, while working at my desk. This way, something is on and I can concentrate on my work better, but I don't have to watch it, as I know just by what is being said, or the particular music being played, as to where in the movie they are. I know, I am weird.....that being said, I guess I need to go wake Walt up, so that we can run the rest of our errands for today!!
I am going to leave you with a few photos of what it looked like outside of our RV, after one of the lines froze up and had frozen water all over the place! But don't worry, it wasn't one of the sewer lines, it was the water from the sinks. Luckily Ron, our RV Repair guy came by and saw it and setup the heat lamps to thaw it out for me since I was here alone! So, Till next time.....
Aloha My Friends :)

Walt Is Coming Home!!
Walt (in hat for any newbies to my blog) and our friend, Clive (who is from England). Clive was recovering from a horrible accident he had while sailing around the world. They encountered a huge storm which caused some damage to the Sailboat as well as almost killing Clive!!
Hey Ya'll,
Well I got a call from Walt about an hour ago, and he is on his way home!! He has been gone for 9 days. Not that it wasn't peaceful without him....IT WAS! But I do miss him, and I am looking forward to seeing him today! However, because I don't have a vehicle here that I can drive, I have been house bound for get this....9 DAYS!! So I am looking forward to being able to leave the RV Park, even if it is only to go run around on errands, which we have a ton to do!! LOL
BUT! I am also hopeful that he will feel sorry enough for me, that he takes me out for lunch or dinner in the next day or two! I have only been able to eat what we had on hand, or what I could buy at the little General Store at the Gas Station here on the property. And we all know how bad that can be for someone trying to lose weight!!
But don't worry, now that Walt is back, he will keep me on track (TRUST ME!). So, in preparation for his homecoming, I walked over to the communal Showers (as ours is small and a pain to take a shower in) and took a nice long shower, so I am as fresh as I can be for Walt!!! Well, I better go for now, got lots to do (like Taxes!! Ugh!!). LOL So, till next time.....

What Do You Think Of My New Layout??
Unfortunately....I don't Smoke, Drink Coffee or take Prozac!! LOL
Hey Ya'll,
I changed my layout a couple of days ago, and I hope that you like it. I loved the Christmas theme I had, but it was for Christmas, and unfortunately, Christmas is over. I didn't get around to writing a post to advertise the change as I have been busy trying to make sure that all of our accounts have our updated address, and that we get all the Utilities turned off, etc.
Not to mention trying to verify that I haven't missed a payment, on anything currently due! Since our mail is being routed from the old address to the new, and you know how long it can take to get the rerouted mail!! So I have had very little time to actually write a post, other than welcoming my newest Follower's of course! As welcoming them takes only a few minutes and is very easy and fun to write. :)
So I think that I have all of our accounts taken care of....I hope!! Now I get to start pulling our dreaded Taxes together....again!!! It seems like it was just a month or two ago that I did the Taxes! I Hate Taxes! Need I say more????
Well, Walt went to Sacramento last Tuesday morning, and he was supposed to be back by Thursday or Friday at the latest. But it will end up being 9 days by the time he returns on Wednesday!! Luckily, I am not afraid to stay alone. In fact, as a funny aside. My Dad's youngest Sister Barbara, who is about 10 years older than me, was always afraid to stay alone, so when her Husband was going to be away for the weekend hunting, or working really late when I wasn't in school, she would call up my Parents and say....can Debi come and babysit me??? She was ok, so long as she wasn't alone....I don't mind being alone. In fact, I kind of like to be alone, except when I don't want to be alone! LOL
The problem this past week + two days, is that we had some issues that came up while Walt was away, and I had to deal with them alone. Luckily, I was able to do this and will be looking forward to seeing my Walt again!
One of the issues has been pipes freezing. Luckily, at least one of the toilets continued to be able to be used. Until last night....the second toilet that I have been able to use, was FULL of "you know what", and I couldn't empty it until today. So I had to go to the RV Parks communal restroom until this morning. That's when Walt called me and walked me through dumping the waste. It was really easy, once you know how to do it. So at least from now on, when I am alone, if it needs to be dumped, I won't have a problem with doing it. There wasn't any smell at all. As I just had to open the valve that allowed it to drain down into the sewer line. So nothing was exposed....Thank God!!
Another issue I had at first was the Heater. It wasn't functioning properly. Luckily, we had a great RV Repair guy "Ron" come over on Tuesday afternoon, and he fixed it up great for me, so I haven't had any problem staying warm since Wednesday! Wednesday was the day after the Circuit Breaker had tripped during the night and I was awakened by my "Ghost/Guardian Angel" (see my post dated Wed Jan 5th for the full explanation), warning me of the near freezing temperatures Inside the RV!!
When I awoke at 3:45 am, it was only 33 degrees in the Bedroom, as the Ceramic Heater had also shut off when the Breaker was tripped. So I feel real lucky to be alive! So after Tuesday nights near tragedy, I made sure not to have too many devises on during the night, so the Circuit Breaker wouldn't be tripped again. Which is great, since we have had morning lows as low as 3 degrees!!! But easily in the low to mid teens most nights.
And the third big issue I had this past week, was tripping the Circuit Breaker (as mentioned above), which would shut off the Heat and Refrigerator, plus lights, TV, Computer.......get the drift??? LOL Luckily, Ron also took care of this as well. Or at least he worked it so that it wasn't as huge a deal until Walt could get back, and we decided exactly what we were going to do with Ron's help. So after the first couple of days, I figured out what I could run at the same time, and not trip the Circuit Breaker, so all's good! :)
In the long run, we will probably separate two of the Slides so that they are on their own Circuit. This will allow us to run more things without the issue of tripping the Circuit Breaker. Especially my Office. By separating it, we can run my Computer, a TV, at least one or two of the Printers, etc and not trip the Breaker. Anyway, I am probably boring you to death at this point!!!
So if you are still reading this, I should now confess my "Sins". While Walt was away, I didn't eat like I should....I am totally ashamed, and I know that I should know better. Now I need to pick myself back up, and get my ass back on track!!!!! Any advice?? I am about 13 1/2 months out from Surgery, I should know better!! But it is so hard to control myself sometimes, and with all that I have had to worry about this past week, I just fell back into my old eating habits. And I ate, and ate, and ate "Junk"!!
Well, I should go, I have so much to do starting tomorrow getting the Taxes in order. Till next time....
Aloha My Friends :)
This kind of gives you an idea what the waste line looks like, this is not our line, maybe I will take a photo of ours and post at a later time....???

Can You Say...OMG...NO!!!???
My Guardian Angel???
Hey Ya'll,
Well, today was not a great day, but it has ended up ok.
To start this tale, I need to begin at the beginning. As I said in my last post yesterday (I think), that Walt drove down to Sacramento until the end of the week. He usually sets all the temperature's on all the devices before going to bed at night, to keep us warm and hopefully without tripping the Circuit Breaker. You see, we are currently having a problem with the Circuit Breaker, and haven't as yet totally resolved it. So when I went to bed last night, I set the temps myself, etc, the way he said to.
Now this is where a lot of you may think that I am a whack job or crazy, but I don't know of any other explanation. I think that I either have a Ghost here with me, or a Guardian Angel. I will be explaining why I believe this, trust me. At 3:45 this morning, I woke up to a loud bang in the RV. While Walt is away, I usually am very aware of sounds/noises, since I am alone, and all I heard was the one bang.
Well, when this loud bang happened, I immediately woke up! I had left a flashlight next to the bed in case I needed to get up during the night. So I turned it on and looked in the Bedroom, then pointed it down into the Living Room and into my Office. I couldn't see anyone or anything in particular out of place, so I got out of bed to go investigate the sound.
As soon as I got out from under the warmth of the blankets, I immediately realized that it was REALLY COLD. I looked at the clock in the Bedroom, that also gives a temperature readout. It said that it was only 33 degrees in the Bedroom!! So I went down into the Living Room and realized that the Circuit Breaker had tripped during the night, which meant that the Heater's weren't functioning. And the clock in the Living Room showed it to be about 43 degrees in the Living Room. So of course, the first thing that I did, was to reset the Circuit Breaker so the Heat would come back on.
When I did this, I realized that the Snap-N-Lock Bread Container had fallen down from the top shelf onto the floor. This is what made the loud bang that I had heard. Now let me tell you that this container was not even close to being able to "just fall off". Walt is tall, and he placed it up there where it was completely stable. So the only explanation could be either, 1) we had an Earthquake, or 2) a "Ghost"/"Guardian Angel" made it fall down.
Let me also tell you that I do not believe it was an Earthquake, and this is why. An Earthquake would have made the Glasses and Plates rattle around in the Cupboards. And believe me, in an RV, an Earthquake would have shook it pretty good! And like I said, I am usually acutely aware of any weird sounds during the night, especially when I am alone. The Kitchen is only about 12' away from the Bed, so I Would Have Heard The Dishes Rattle if we had had an Earthquake!
I didn't hear anything but the bang, no jostling of Glasses, etc. So I am under the impression that "something" was trying to get my attention, so that I could wake up and turn the heat back on! I went to a Psychic Fair about 20 years ago, and was told then that I had a Guardian Angel with me. I believe it was my Grandmother, maybe she is still with me????
After turning the Heat back on, I went to the bathroom since I was up and then went back to bed. This morning I woke up at around 9:30 and the Heat/Power was still on, but I noticed that the Water lines was frozen in all but one of the sinks/toilets!! The only one that wasn't frozen, was the sink in the front Bathroom in the Master Bedroom. So I contacted Walt and advised him of my delima.
He advised me to turn the Heat way up to about 75 degrees, and open up all the Cupboards that has the Water lines running in them. He also advised me to put the Bedroom Ceramic Heater in the second Bathroom, to get the Toilet and Sink in there unfrozen faster. Especially since it is the only toilet that I can use right now!! Otherwise, I would have to walk over to use the Women's Bathroom in the Park, everytime I needed to go, until Walt came back on Saturday and fixed it!!! Not the best option, but at least I did have an option. :)
Luckily, the outside temps managed to get up to the low 40's today, so the Kitchen Sink lines unfroze fairly quick. And after an hour or so with the Heater in the Bathroom, the back Bathroom's Sink and Toilet unfroze as well!! So.....all's well, that ends well I guess! What a day. I sure hope that I don't have to experience this very often....Well, I guess I should go for now, I need to eat Dinner. Till next time.....
Aloha My Friends :)

Short and Sweet!!
Hey Ya'll,
Well, I am sorry that it has been several days since I last posted. But we have been busy. Walt just called from the House and informed me that we had a notice posted on the door advising us that in 21 days (Jan 25th), our house would be put up for Auction! We knew it was coming, in fact we were expecting it sooner. If they had moved as quickly as they could have, we would have had to vacate the house by the end of the year, now we have until the end of January, since they have to give you at least 3 days once the house is sold. :(( Well, like I said, we knew it was coming.....
Yesterday, Walt was really sweet and drove me to Reno, so that I could buy myself some Winter Boots. My current shoes were freezing my toes off! We bought a Boot that is 10"'s in height, then after we got home, Walt looked at the email that I had sent him with my choices. He liked the Boots that were 13"'s in height. Same Boot that we bought, just taller.
So today I called the store to see if they still had them in my size, which is a size 7. Luckily they do, so we will be taking my new Boots back for an exchange for the taller ones. I tried to just copy the photo of them, but the site would not let me, so I am including a link which shows the photo of them. They aren't the prettiest Boots, but they are definitely comfortable and warm! Now I can't wait until I can get the taller ones so that I can start to wear them. :)

Well, today Walt woke up and drove down to Sacramento for work. Usually he would work there from Monday through Wednesday or Thursday, then drive back home. But he will probably stay until Friday or Saturday before coming home. But don't you worry, I have plenty of things to do! I have to start pulling our Taxes together!! Oh lucky me!! LOL I can't believe that Tax season is already here again.
Today we had an RV Repair guy out as we have been having problems with out Heater working properly. It only worked when it wanted to!! While he was out, he discovered some other issues that we have, and is getting approval to work on them from the Extended Warranty Company. So we are really happy with this guy. He seems really decent and isn't trying to do work that isn't necessary. He discovered why we have been having power issues, and is already taking care of it too! So at least I won't freeze to death while Walt is away. LOL
Well, I better go for now, I hope everyone is having a great week, this first week of January 2011. Till next time.....

Our 1st REAL SNOW!! And Lot's Of Photos!
Hey Ya'll,
Well, we had a "dusting" of snow on the 29th and thought that it was great! Then we woke up this morning, and had about 6" of snow that fell overnight!! We are lucky that we have a 4x4 Truck as they have yet to plow off the snow from the roads in the RV Park!! I will attach a few photos that I took today. And we are expecting more snow tomorrow as well.
Normally this wouldn't bother me, but having been out and about the last few days, has made me realize that I am not as prepared for the colder temperatures as I thought I was. My coats are ok, and I have some scarves that keep my neck warm, and I have a great pair of gloves for my hands, and a great hat, but.....my feet are a different story! My feet are freezing up here everytime we go out of the home. So I am looking to buy a pair of "winter boots" to keep my tootsies warm! Now if only I can convince Walt to take me into Reno to buy them tomorrow!
Walt is currently visiting his Mom. I would have gone with him, but I didn't take a shower today, and my short hair looks like Stan Laurel (for anyone old enough to remember Oliver and Hardy!)! So there was no way that I was going to go visit her with my hair! And I couldn't keep my hat on, as she keeps her house nice and WARM! So it would look stupid for me to keep my hat on. LOL
Last night one of our fears came to light. One of our Septic Lines froze up! So Walt spent most of today getting a new line put in (although not hooked up yet), and draining the one that wasn't frozen, so that we could continue to use it, as it was full this morning!!! That is great, since we would have had to walk through the 6"'s of snow, to the RV Parks public restrooms everytime we needed to go!! Anyway, he got one of them usable, and tomorrow he will continue to work on the other. Or Monday at the latest. Which means that he may not go down into Sacramento until Tuesday now. Oh well, at least the weather is supposed to be clear then.
As for my "Fill". I got it, but so far I don't feel like I have any restriction! So maybe with the next one, I will. But this is strange, since I am only .05 cc's lower than I was when I needed the "unfill". Go figure.
Well, I better go for now, stay warm and dry. Till next time......
Aloha My Friends :)
And THIS is what we woke up to this morning!!
Looking out from our door to the East.
A view of the Eastern side of the Sierra's from our RV. Lake Tahoe is over on the other side.
