The Time Is Almost Here!!
This is what they look
like when not attached to
the bike!! So in essence, it makes it a 4 wheeler instead of a Trike, which is fine by me!!
Hey Ya'll,
Just a quick post as I have to get to bed early tonight. Walt will be waking me up at about 6 am tomorrow so that we will make it to my Motorcycle Safety Class on time!! Yikes!!! I am excited and terrified at the same time.
By the way, after seeing my photos on the blog of his bike, Walt wants me to take some new photos of him on the bike. The ones I posted were taken last year and he has lost weight!! So he wants more current photos so he looks better!! LOL
I will see if I can get Walt to take some photos of me on the bike tomorrow in class. We are not supposed to have any bystanders in the area during class, but since we are friends with the Instructor, and we are coming from out of town and Walt doesn't have anywhere to go but to stay in the car, maybe he will let him come close enough to snap a few photos. If so, I will post them.
By the way, I looked up the type of training wheels we are planning on putting on the bike so that I can ride it, they are shown in the photos at the top of the page. We are not planning on paying out a ton of money right now to make it a full time Trike. This way, we can take them off for Walt to ride, or put them on for me!! So...till next time.
Aloha My Friends :)

Motorcycle mama! Good luck on the course. The bike looks fab with the training wheels. I have my motorcycle license-got it when I was 16. Never rode since but am seriously thinking about it. My daughter just bought a bike so I might make her let me try.
Too funny about Walt wanting to show us his thinner pics. But good for him for losing some weight.
jealous. reminder: i am on the lookout for a hot babe who has a motorcycle that i can ride on the back of.....just sayin...
Good luck! I love the training wheels!
I hope you are having fun out there. Even the classroom part wasn't so bad, if I remember right.
Cool beans about the extra wheels. Is it easy to take them off and put them on?
OMG Debi.. it is so funny you should post this.. My DH and I were just talking to someone who makes custom trikes.. In June he will be having abig show at Americade and we are going to look at some 3 wheelers.. ENjoy and good luck to you..
Thanks Everyone!!
Sandy, go ahead and try your daughter's bike out for size! I forgot how fun it was to ride!! And yes, Walt is wanting some attention and acknowledgment regarding his weight loss too!!
Heidi (Shrinking Mommy), too funny!! Hey, if we lived in your neck of the woods, I wouldn't mind riding you around, but Walt would insist that you wore full bike gear too!!
Thanks Linda and LDswims! Yes, the training wheels are cute and they aren't supposed to be difficult to install and uninstall! Which is why Walt likes them, this way it isn't a full time Trike for him, but I can use it when needed.
LDswims, so far the classroom is easier than I originally expected. But we will see if I pass the class tomorrow. We have a 50 question quiz. But they CLAIM that it is super easy!!
Barbara, you should love them!! We are contemplating getting a full time Trike in the future as well. Or, keeping this one normal and getting a 2nd one as a Trike for me!!
My parents did this to their Harley last summer! Makes it a ton easier to ride :)
Enjoy, Biker Babe!!!
Thanks Grace!! It just HAS to be easier than what I am riding now!
