I Had Steak And It Was GOOD!!

Water Rides

Hey Ya'll,

Well, today I spent half of today washing clothes....yet again!!  And again, I had 10 loads of laundry to do....Luckily the laundry room here has 10 washers and 10 dryers.  But I don't like to be a piggy, so I only used 5 machines at a time so that others could wash too.  Normally I only like to do 3-4 loads at a time, so that I don't get too far behind in folding.  But still, it takes a while to go through 2 full sets of loads, plus folding them.

Luckily for me, Walt really helps out a lot.  He always helps me by taking the clothes to the laundry room for me (even though I have placed them in our tri-sectioned rolling cart), and helps me out by pre loading the washers with detergent for me.  This way, all I have to do is follow behind him, and place the clothes in.  Then he returns to the RV, while I read for as long as I could, before I start transferring the 1st set of clothes, and start reloading the 2nd set.  Then, once the 1st round is out of the dryers, I fold them, and Walt returns, takes them to the RV for me and puts them away, while I continue working on the 2nd set.  Once they are finished, he returns and helps me take the last load back to the RV as well, and carries the laundry basket in for me.  But this still takes several hours!!  I will have to start washing once a week instead of every other week!! LOL  They do have one extra large Washer and Dryer, but they were being used, so I had to use the "normal" small ones, thus 10 loads.

Then tonight, Walt took me over to The Outback Steakhouse for dinner.  I had the Victoria's Filet with a Baked Potato and a House Salad.  Ummm, I love their Honey Mustard Salad Dressing....I could eat just the Salad, it is so good!  BUT!  I also love the Filet and Baked Potato, so I chose that.  I also got the Filet in their current special, that includes Lobster Tails.  I Do Not Like Seafood, but Walt loves it, so I got it so that he could eat my Lobster Tails.

He also got their Sirloin with the Lobster Tails.....He ate his Salad and at least half of mine.  Plus I gave him half of my Potato and at least 2 ounces of my 6 oz Filet, not to mention all of his food!!  Then we shared a Dessert.  The Chocolate Thunder From Down Under....ummm good!!  But sometimes it is Good to be Bad....!!!  LOL

Tomorrow, we will be going to the Storage Unit to see if we can go through some more of our "Stuff" (sigh).  We need to bring back our larger pieces of luggage for our upcoming trip to Hawaii.  Of course, the trip is still 6 months away....you don't think that I am anxious do you???  LOL

Yesterday we went to the Pizza Lunch, with Russ's Calculus Professor and her husband, as well as Carolyn (Walt's Ex Wife).  We had a really good time, and all got along really well.  Russ is flying out this Sunday from Reno, to go to Ohio for 4 days of Amusement Park bliss at Cedar Point.  He will be staying at one of the on site Hotels, so that he can totally enjoy himself there!!  Of course, we expect him to return totally exhausted!!  This will be his first vacation All By Himself!  Not very many people like to go to Amusement Parks by themselves.  But he has wanted to do this kind of vacation for years....I just hope that he rides a few Water Rides and Roller Coasters for me!!

After we drop Russ off at the Airport this Sunday, we will have a late lunch/early dinner with Carolyn, before she drives back home.  Well, I guess I should go for now, I am tired (physically) and can use some rest.  Till next time....

Aloha My Friends  :)

Russ will be close to where we are! I hope he has a terrific time! Tell him to try Kennywood Park while he's in this neck of the woods! The coasters are to die for - the " Thunderbolt" is a classic!

Your dinner sounded amazing!

Thanks Lisa!! But unless Kennywood Park is within walking distance of Cedar Point, he won't make it as he is not planning on renting a car. He is planning on LIVING at Cedar Point!! LOL

You and Walt sound like G and I with sharing the laundry chores. We have a deal, he does all the carrying and load changing and I do all the folding and hanging (which he hates!) Your dinner sounds great! OMG if I were going to Hawaii in 6 mos I'd be jumping out of my skin with excitement. I hate to think of wishing life away but seriously !! HAWAII!! : )
