Finally!! I'm Over Half Way Home!! And The Best NSV!!
Hey Ya'll,
Just a quick post to say.....Who-ya!!! Last night I had the BEST NSV EVER!! Last night I was able to put on my Original Wedding Band!! I think it is a size 6! I have not been able to wear it in about 10 years!!! It slipped right on! Yea!! And all my shoes are fitting me again! I don't feel like I have to tie my Tennis Shoes loosely! They feel like they actually fit! In fact, I had to buy them a half size bigger to accommodate my widened foot. Now they are actually a little too wide!!! But that is ok, I would rather them be a bit loose and wear thicker socks, than too narrow, and hurt!!!
Get this, I have lost 13 lbs since.....August 25th (that's 16 days)!!! AND.....I am now down a total of 51 lbs!!! I am over half way to my goal!! That is assuming I still want to get down to 130 lbs! I may like myself at 140. If so, then I only have 37.6 lbs to go!! But seeing as how long it is taking to lose my Thick Neck and Stomach, then maybe I do need to lose to 130!! I am 5'3" so I need to lose down quite a bit more before I look my best. But I am definitely, only about 37-47 lbs away!!
Well, I gotta go, got so much to do and so little time to do it in!! Till next time.....
Aloha My Friends :)

Congrats Debi!!!! What an exciting NSV!! And congrats on the scale movement :)
WHOO HOO!!! You are on FIRE!
Way cool Deb. Fantastic news!
Thanks Everyone!!
Lets hope I can keep this up for awhile!! I would love to lose another 2.6 lbs before we leave for Portland on the 22nd, as it would put me at 175 lbs! But of course, another 7.6 lbs would be better!! Making me 170 lbs! LOL
Hi Debi,
I am so happy for you. Congratulations. I can still remember the day I had to remove my wedding band because it had become to tight. I look forward to the day I can wear it comfortably again.
Nikki x
Thanks Nikki!!
Hi Debi
can I reply to your questions ref employment in the UAE.
I'm not sure what Hubby does but if he can find work in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi I would truly recommend it. Being an expat is either something you love or hate... I went over seas to china in 93 for a year and nearly 20 years later I'm still over seas.
I lost a job in Indonesia following the far east melt down of the late 90's and went back to the Uk in 98 did not want to work in the UK and looked over seas again through an agency, I went out to the UAE with a job in 99.
If you want to tell me what he does I can advise on the employment possibilities... Abu Dhabi is much more vibrant than Dubai now...hope this help...Andrew
Thanks for the information Andrew! I am responding with another comment in your blog as well as an email to you!
Congrats, what a wonderful thing to fit back into!
