A New Fill, But....Restriction???

Hey Ya'll,

Well, yesterday we drove into Reno, since we haven't actually moved there yet, in order to go to my Surgeon's Office for my latest Fill.  Ever since my "Unfill" back in October, I haven't had any restriction except for the occasional problems where I wasn't careful and ate too fast or didn't chew my food very well.  I was hoping to have some restriction after this Fill, but so far....nothing.  I even ate Lunch at Applebee's yesterday and didn't have any problems.  Of course I was careful.  I ate slower than normal and ate less than I normally would have.  I took enough home to have 2 more meals out of it!  But I could have eaten more than I did.

After we returned home, Walt went to bed.  He apparently had had a bad Headache, that started yesterday morning.  However, he didn't say anything about it until Lunch.  So I gave him a Tylenol 3 (Extra Strength Tylenol and Arthritis Strength Tylenol doesn't help him at all).  I had to give him another one after getting home, then another one last night.  He still had the Headache and had stayed in bed a most of yesterday.

He had planned on going back to Reno this morning, to go to the Truck Driving School for more practice.  But although he felt better, he still didn't feel super well.  So he stayed home today and spent most of the day in bed again.

Tomorrow, we are going to do our laundry in the morning. Ugh!  We have at least 11-12 loads to do, so we will be busy.  Laundry day always wears me out, since I have so much folding to do.  Then to have to put it all away!!  And since Walt may have to drive back to Sacramento on Monday, I will probably be packing his bags tomorrow as well.  He had originally planned on being here on Monday for Valentines Day, then driving to Sacramento on Tuesday morning, but it looks like another Snow Storm is moving into the Sierra's Monday afternoon.

We are expecting some snow here in the valley as well, but probably not until Wednesday.  So I am glad that we got the RV's Heater fixed, plus bought the Electric Heaters.  I should have no problems, but you never know!!  The biggest thing is that we won't be together for Valentines Day, but I told him not to worry about it.  We are so tight right now money wise, with taxes due and all, that we really can't afford to go out for Dinner anyway.....And he probably won't be home until next Saturday.  Luckily, I don't mind being alone.  I really don't.  I know, I know, I am weird.

Anyway, I finished the book I was reading by James Van Praagh, called "Ghosts Among Us".  Let me tell you, it was a fascinating read, and I highly recommend this book to anyone that is open to the possibility of life after death.  He was raised Catholic and had even started schooling to become a Priest when he was young.  And he tells you exactly what you can expect after you die.  Having read it, I really feel better about what is to come, and I feel even more connected to all the family members who has passed.  After saying this, I know that I will probably lose some Follower's that do not believe in Ghosts or life after death.  But you can't please everyone.  And this is after all my blog, and I am only writing about my experiences with the Band and my life.

Well, I guess I should go for now, here's hoping that I actually get some restriction at some point in the future again.  Till next time....

Aloha My Friends  :)

James Van Praage is so awesome! I love his books, I haven't had a chance to read this one yet, but have read several others and I have one of his books on CD too. I had a very difficult time with the loss of my Papa and his books helped me so much.

Barbara, I am so sorry that you lost your husband. I don't know what I would do if my Walt went before me. I don't even want to think about it.

I read huge sections of the book to Walt while we would be driving, and he loved it too!

But having read this book, I know that life goes on, just in another way. We only lose our earthly body, as our Soul DOES lives on. And I know that he would be here with me, all I would have to do is think about him.

Barbara, if I had the book in hard copy, I would have loved to send it to you, but I have it on my Kindle...But I am highly recommending it to you. I feel confident that it will make you feel so much better.

Jen, thanks for your comment!! I am so glad to hear that you love his books too. This was the first book of his that I have read, and I will definitely read his other books too.

Both of my Parents are in ill health and either one could go at any time. This book makes me feel hope that they will still be here for us even after they are gone, and that they will no longer be in pain. I know that we will be reunited.
